Discussion about Debates on Tensile Test Standard GB/T 228.1-2010

The explanation, guideline, interpretation and testing research literatures about the controlling type and speed of yield strength test in GB/T 228.1-2010 were reviewed and analyzed. Six conclusions and analysis on debate problems were listed according to verification test results by 21 laboratories, and some data, tables and figures as well as demonstrating tests which caused misleading during formulating GB/T 228.1-2010 were also discussed. Some suggestions for standard revision were put forward.
